Technical support to immunization data infrastructure project development and implementation:

  • Support in the development implementation, and monitoring of a comprehensive work plan detailing all project activities, methodology, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements, including the development of a project tracker.
  • Support in the coordination and facilitation of routine check-ins (project management calls) with vendors and government partners to discuss progress, plans, and issues of the project. Oversee and support day-to-day implementation, monitor status of implementation, gather relevant data, and prepare updates for the project team and implementing partners. Collect, analyze, and consolidate relevant information (e.g., planned activities vs accomplishment, bottlenecks, risk registry) to facilitate monitoring of progress and the identification of common problems which cause delay. Provide technical oversight on the different stages of the development and implementation that would be useful to vendors and partners.
  • Support review and maintenance of detailed financial documents and procurement plan.
  • Support and assist in the design, development, rollout, scale-up activities of immunization data infrastructure projects. Facilitate software development activities that would require participation of UNICEF and other stakeholders (e.g., content development and testing, user testing).
  • Contribute to troubleshooting, and the documentation of challenges and resolutions in the development and implementation activities.
  • Facilitate administrative and logistical requirements of the project, including organizing meetings, workshops, and travel arrangements, if needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Provide support in the capacity building activities (e.g., serving as trainer, coordination).

Support for engagement and maintenance of partnerships and networks :

  • Support UNICEF PCO in the coordination with other partners and stakeholders that are relevant to the implementation of the projects.
  • Support UNICEF PCO team staff in facilitating various meetings/activities necessary to ensure smooth implementation of the project.
  • Support UNICEF PCO team in preparing agenda, minutes, and follow up on decisions made in meetings.
  • Provide advice and support to PCO team and program partners on best practices, standards, and norms on digital health infrastructure related to immunization.

Quality Assurance (QA) on all of the deliverables to be submitted:

  • Review and provide inputs to all deliverables and other project artifacts submitted or shared by the technical team and government partners.
  • Ensure that project deliverables follow DOH and UNICEF Protocols and Standards.

Knowledge Management:

  • Identify, capture, synthesize, and share lessons learned in agreed format and venue.
  • Lead documentation and clear monitoring project KPIs.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Work with the Health section and the Communications unit to prepare regular progress reports and updates for donors, highlighting key milestones, successes, and challenges encountered during the Mobile IIS development and deployment.
  • Ensure timely submission of these reports, adhering to specifications and deadlines.
  • Organize and maintain all project-related documents in an easily retrievable format, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

Education:

  • University or Advanced Degree is required in Health Informatics or Health-Related Courses (or other related fields) plus at least 5 years of experience in management of digital health projects.

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required:

Work Experience:

  • Experience in managing development and/or implementation of digital health solution.
  • Experience in working with government partners in implementing digital health solutions.
  • Strong understanding of digital health landscape in the country.
  • With epidemiology background.
  • Excellent communication and written skills in English.
  • Experience in coordinating between multiple remote teams and stakeholders.
