If you are goal oriented, have a passion for wildlife, and know how to help others succeed, then an Impact Analysis Biologist position with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is the job for you! You would coordinate with a team of wildlife management professionals to oversee regional impact analysis activities and coordination, which includes building relationships with local, state and federal partners to plan projects that improve or mitigate impacts to wildlife habitats. Other duties would include assisting the planning and implementation of large-scale Watershed Restoration Initiative projects on private, state and federal lands. You would also be a local expert on minimizing impacts to wildlife from recreational activities along the wildland-urban interface.

Work environment, working conditions, physical requirements –
Regular work schedule, 40 hours a week) There will occasionally be 10+ hour days in remote areas. Some travel and overnight stays required. The ability to lift 50 pounds, hike five miles, work extended hours in adverse weather conditions, including heat and cold, may be required.
Miscellaneous – Must have a valid driver’s license.
