Role Introduction:We are seeking an experienced ISO Manager to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relation to our ISO standards, leading the ongoing development, implementation, and improvement of our Integrated Management System (IMS). This role will ensure the organisation not only meets but exceeds compliance requirements while driving a culture of continual improvement.The successful candidate will also play a key role in supporting the adoption of new standards, including ISO 42001, enabling One Advanced to maintain its competitive edge in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.The ideal candidate will be someone with drive who is well used to working in a complex, global matrix environment and thrives in a varied role.You will be detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong background in IMS ideally within a SaaS/Tech organisation and the ability to navigate the evolving compliance landscape.This role will be based mostly remote with travel to Birmingham HQ a few times a month, and other occasional other travel as necessary. You will thrive here if you enjoy working with autonomy, and tend to bring solutions to a team What You Will Do:IMS Development and Maintenance:

  • Lead in the implementation, management and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 20000-1.
  • Ensure IMS policies and processes are effectively embedded across all business units.
  • Experience of managing and implementing an IMS within a SaaS organisation.
  • Monitor and evaluate IMS performance through regular internal audits, reviews, and stakeholder feedback.

Standards Expertise and Adoption:

  • Act as the organisation’s SME for current ISO standards, providing guidance to teams on compliance requirements.
  • Drive the adoption and integration of new standards, such as ISO 42001 (Artificial Intelligence Management Systems) & ISO 22301 (Business Continuity) into the IMS.
  • Stay updated on emerging standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure proactive compliance through horizon scanning

Training and Awareness:

  • Develop and deliver training programmes to ensure all employees understand their roles in maintaining compliance.
  • Promote awareness of the IMS and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to ensure compliance requirements are aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external and external auditors, customers and certification bodies, ensuring successful audits and certifications.
  • Support cross-functional teams in addressing non-conformities and implementing corrective actions.

Risk and Performance Management:

  • Identify and assess compliance risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement within the IMS.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and accessibility of IMS documentation, including policies, procedures, and records.
  • Provide regular reports to senior leadership on IMS performance, audit outcomes, and compliance risks.
  • Lead on external certification audits

What You Will Have:Skills and Qualifications

  • Certification as a Lead Auditor for ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001) is highly desirable.
  • Professional membership (CQI, ISP, CSP) is highly desirable

Experience

  • Proven experience managing ISO compliance frameworks, ideally in a technology-driven, complex, multi-site environment.
  • Demonstrated success in embedding and improving management systems across a multi-site organisation.
  • Experience with adopting new standards or frameworks, such as ISO 42001, is a significant advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and ISO 20000-1).
  • Familiarity with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and their practical application.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment, audit processes, and compliance monitoring tools.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and implement solutions.
  • Forward-thinking and adaptable to new challenges, particularly in the adoption of emerging standards.
