Offer Description
As the chosen candidate, your responsibilities will include providing essential support for our in vivo experiments in mice. This will encompass tasks such as genotyping, animal care, performing surgical procedures, administering injections, conducting functional measurements, and managing data analysis. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance with all regulatory requirements related to animal experimentation.
You will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic, international, and collaborative team of motivated professionals, making a meaningful contribution to cutting-edge research in the field of cardiac biology and disease.

Specific Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in animal handling, colony maintenance, and management of large-scale in vivo studies.
- Possession of a valid certificate for conducting animal experiments (article 9 or 13f.2).
- Previous hands-on experience with micro-surgeries.
- Preferably a background in cardiac research.
- Competence in fundamental molecular biology techniques, including DNA and RNA isolation, qPCR, Western Blot, and histology.
- Good in spoken and written English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of both independent work and collaborative teamwork.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Basic familiarity with bioinformatics is advantageous.

- Salary scale 8b: € 3,270 to € 4,631 gross with full-time employment (depending on education and experience).
