We are working with a leading provider of insurance advice, specialising in Life, Health, and Income Protection coverage. They collaborate with top insurers, ensuring a wide range of options for their customers. They offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for career growth and development.What You’ll Be DoingAs a Sales Consultant in the Protection department, you will guide customers to the best Life Insurance, Income Protection, and Unemployment Cover options to meet their specific needs. You will handle customer enquiries from our partners and direct marketing, ensuring exceptional service through your market expertise.Key Responsibilities

• Build relationships and perform detailed fact-finds to understand customer needs.
• Match customer needs with suitable policies and explain the benefits.
• Liaise with insurer partners to stay updated on policies and practices.
• Handle customer complaints and cancellations effectively.
• Maintain high compliance standards and adhere to FCA regulations.
• Keep updated with industry regulations and underwriting criteria.
• Ensure all tasks are completed on time daily.
• Support colleagues and management for optimal outcomes.
• Communicate professionally via telephone and email.

Qualifications & SkillsEssential:

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at grade C or above.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable, honest, and passionate about customer service.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive work ethic.
• Previous experience in Income Protection Sales.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
• Ability to work 37.5 hours per week on a flexible basis.

Desirable:

• CII or IFS Qualifications, or willingness to pursue them.
• Minimum 1-year experience in an FCA-regulated sales environment.
• Commitment to self-development.
• Experience working with defined KPIs.
