About the team
Speech Pathologists work within a Multi-tiered System of Support framework to build capacity of educators to support students to maximise their educational outcomes.
About the role
Inclusion Advisor Speech Pathologists perform student observation and interviews with parents and teachers to plan and implement interventions for students with speech, language and communication concerns that may be having a direct impact on educational outcomes.
Inclusion Advisor Speech Pathologists promote the development of young children and students’ communication performance within the classroom, at an individual, group or whole class level.
To be successful you will need to have a degree in Speech Pathology from an Australian institution, or equivalent, eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia and current working knowledge of paediatric speech pathology services.

Office-based conditions apply to this position. The applicant must hold or be able to obtain a Working with Children Notice Clearance and an NT driver’s licence. Visits to remote schools may necessitate travel by four-wheel drive vehicle on unsealed roads or light aircraft and include overnight stays in remote communities of up to four days. Four-wheel drive training will be provided by the NT Department of Education.
