Inclusive Cycling Ride Leader (seasonal)

£27,958 – £31,559 pa, pro-rata to months worked

PEDALL New Forest Inclusive Cycling is a health and wellbeing charity that helps everyone, no
matter what their need, to get out and cycle in the New Forest National Park amongst nature. 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to deliver engaging cycling
sessions for people with additional needs, against the stunning backdrop of the New Forest
National Park.

Working with the PEDALL Operational Lead and supported by the Project Manager you will:

• develop and deliver inclusive cycling sessions using a fleet of specialist cycles and
  mountain bikes
• run open cycling sessions for anyone with an additional need or barrier, enabling them to
  enjoy the freedom of cycling in the New Forest
• train a team of volunteers and work experience students, some with additional needs

We are looking for an individual with experience of planning and delivering high quality,
outdoor recreation sessions to diverse audiences, whilst understanding the benefits of helping
people with additional needs get outdoors and active in the natural environment.

Working from our PEDALL bases in Ashurst and Burley and across the New Forest, this role
requires a valid driving licence and is subject to a DBS check. This is a seasonal role for 6
months from April 2024 for up to 30 hours per week and involves working occasional weekends.
