The Nature Conservancy in Indiana is seeking a Development Coordinator to join our fundraising team. The Indiana Development Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to the Development Team through various activities including drafting correspondence and acknowledgements; coordinating supply orders and vehicle upkeep; budgeting and yearly expense tracking; and scheduling and planning meetings, retreats, and special events. The Coordinator uses the available fundraising management system to record interactions, complete follow-up, and track pending steps and coordinate the complete solicitation process. They provide administrative support to the Out-the-Door Fundraising Team via scheduling, expense reporting, invoicing, managing contracts, and making travel arrangements. The Coordinator also assists with presentations for internal and external meetings, including board and committee meetings. They apply established processes and practices, or develop new ones, to improve individual and team effectiveness. The Coordinator may have substantial contact with staff, donors, legal and financial professionals. They will provide other staff with information they need to make decisions and solve problems; and perform other administrative functions as required, which may vary throughout the year based on fundraising cycles and/or campaigns.

This is a full-time, hourly position based at our office in Indianapolis, Indiana with remote work available up to 2 days a week. The starting pay range for this position is generally within $47,100 – $50,000 annually, based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s location, qualifications, specific skills, experience, and internal equity.
