Description of the Assignment:  The Programme Development Advisor, reporting to the Director and working closely with the Deputy Director and the Strategic Engagement & Partnership Specialist of the GFCR Grant Fund, will perform the following tasks: 

• Conduct research and support coordination to develop synthesis reports on priorities, trends, potential partners, and opportunities related to SDG 14 financing.
• Develop ocean finance-related proposals, concept notes, pitch decks, thematic presentations, reports, and briefs related to SDG14 financing needs, opportunities and proposed funding pathways
• Support the establishment of relations and continued with interested parties related to SDG14 financing aims
• Support coordination and planning for regular calls with key high-level donors, potential donors, and strategic partners
• Support coordination and planning for strategic engagement missions and post-mission follow-up, including scheduling of in-person meetings with state, private sector, and philanthropic representatives, as well as UN focal points and strategic partners, preparing mission reports and executing follow-up steps
• Drafting and record keeping of meeting minutes, presentations, next steps and action plans, briefs, talking points, and other materials.

Period of assignment/services (if applicable):  Up to approximately 120 days within a 9-month period
