Result of Service
The Individual Contractor is expected to provide high-quality inputs and complete the tasks in a timely, accurate and professional manner while supporting the team.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the overall guidance of the Team Leader, Talent Development Team (TDT) and the direct supervision of the Associate Management and Programme Analyst, the following tasks will be carried out: • Develop and maintain clear and efficient administrative systems to support the work of the Programme, including well-organised filing systems and databases and technical support. • Assist in maintaining internal communications tools and channels, such as SharePoint, website, students database, etc. • Handle language programme registration i.e. receiving registration inputs, advising clients on courses, class times and any other course information. • Follow-up the payment of students and produce statistical reports on the language programme income. • Compile and Input language student information in the language administration spreadsheet. • Draft various targeted and user-friendly communications with key stakeholders, including emails, presentations, speaking notes, newsletter articles, and marketing materials. • Handle administrative arrangements concerning the preparation of workshops, including the management of travel arrangements for participants. • Provide administrative support to ensure the timely and accurate processing of non-staff personnel and payments to vendors as related to the implementation of the Organizational learning priorities. • Assist in the development of process improvement by the automation of procedures using existing O365 tools to increase efficiency and reduce labour-intensive and repetitive tasks. • Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications/special skills
• High School Diploma is required. • A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in general office support, administrative services, human resources management or related area is required. • Experience in using modern information and communications technology for the processing and management of data, including MS Office tools, in particular MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, and OneDrive is required. • Work experience in human resources management, including supporting training activities is desirable. • Ability to deliver high quality results in a short time frame is desirable. • Work experience within the United Nations system or a similar international organization is desirable.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
Additional Information
A remuneration will be paid, determined by HRMS on the basis of the level of the functions to be performed and the level of qualifications of the contractor.
