Job description
The Individual Giving & Appeals Lead is responsible for driving the giving that provides a long-term and sustainable income stream to the Asylum Seekers Centre. You will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships and the whole team to deliver a superior support experience, increase participation and strengthen donor engagement. You will be responsible for creating, developing and evaluating donor journeys, lead generation across regular giving, appeals and supporting bequest acquisition and tracking. This is a great opportunity to support an organisation with purpose, leading to better services and outcomes for people seeking asylum. This is a permanent, full-time position working 38 hours per week based in Newtown, with some flexibility to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate ASC’s individual giving program including direct marketing, regular giving, donor communications and bequests across multiple touch points
- Execute appeals and campaigns – end to end, from concept, design and distribution to reporting and analysis
- Develop the supporter journey for all new and existing donors, volunteers, clients and supporters to achieve best ROI and lifetime donor value
- Working with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, develop and implement Bequest program
- Implement metrics for measuring individual giving growth and movement, including acquisition, retention, reactivation, LTV, ROI, donor moves and upgrades
- Continuously research and analyse data, produce regular reports
- Undertake regular data mining to provide information and leads
- Research and monitor sector trends, tactics and channels and make recommendations for testing and implementing new campaigns
Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience developing creative integrated campaigns, appeals, direct marketing and regular giving to engage supporters across multiple channels
- Experience with MS Office, CRMs, budgeting and project management systems
- Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills and ability to engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of fundraising regulation and privacy requirements
