Impact you will make in this role
We are searching for an Individual Giving Specialist to lead the implementation of fundraising initiatives across direct and digital marketing channels to impact warm individual giving appeals and drive retention and growth across individual and regular giving campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and manage the renewal and retention strategies for one-off and regular givers with a key focus on direct mail, email and digital campaigns to increase revenue and supporter engagement
- Contribute to the development of an overall Individual Giving strategy to grow the supporter base and develop the giving journey of each donor, managing supporter journeys to improve second gift rates, develop long-term relationships, and reduce attrition
- Manage collaborative relationships with the Data and Analytics team, Marcomms team and with suppliers to create tailored approaches and communication to continuously engage varied donor groups
- Oversee the execution of the annual Donor Survey to gain donor insights, evaluate upgrade and conversion opportunities, and inform ongoing communication strategies
- Monitor, analyse and report on results according to best practice, and make data-driven recommendations while promoting a test and learn culture
- Project manage multiple campaigns ensuring appeals are delivered on time and to budget, meeting planned goals and fundraising targets
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience retaining and growing individual givers by delivering successful direct marketing campaigns and appeals
- Proven success implementing campaign initiatives that develop donor journeys to improve second gift rates, develop long-term relationships, and reduce attrition
- Project management skills, with the ability to multitask, pivot and prioritise
- Strong ability to make data-driven decisions, while also highlighting key insights and providing recommendations through your CRM capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create donor-centric communication
- A collaborative approach, building valued relationships with stakeholders that include internal teams and external suppliers to meet objectives
- A passion to deliver results across the Individual Giving program that directly impacts the fight against childhood diseases
