The Alannah & Madeline Foundation is a national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to keeping children and young people free from violence and trauma wherever they live, learn and play. Through Care, Prevention and Advocacy programs, we fight for their right to be safe, so their future is strong.

We also support Dolly’s Dream to help change the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression, and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.

How and where you work is discussed with each staff member based on individual circumstances, role requirements and accountability for delivery of high-quality work.

To make an impact in this 2 year contract role, you will:

  • End-to-end coordination and management of our major annual appeals, regular giving acquisition and supporter retention communications along the ask/thank/report/repeat cycle including upgrade/cross-sell activities.
  • Liaise with our fundraising agency, Donor Republic, and other campaign-related suppliers to ensure agreed budgets, workplans, and KPIs are met.
  • Coordinate the implementation of our comprehensive supporter retention and engagement program, including both online and offline automated supporter journeys.
  • Develop and manage campaign budgets, create project plans, align revenue and expenditure forecasts, and monitor campaign income and expenses.

The perfect you:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar fundraising or direct marketing role, managing income generation campaigns and developing project plans and briefs for project teams.
  • Proven experience planning campaigns/projects from start to finish and coordinating outputs for a cross-functional project team that leads fundraising strategy, copy, creative and production.
  • High-level attention to detail with strong project management skills and exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently, as well as effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective interaction with internal or external stakeholders and donors.
  • Experience using a fundraising CRM, preferably Raisers Edge (not essential).
