The current call is open to fill any potential vacant places at the Information and Communication Technology & Facility Management Department.
The trainee shall support the daily activities of the ITF Department of the Agency. The trainee will contribute either to the User Support operations or to Project Management activities. Candidates are invited to indicate their preference in the motivation letter.
The User Support trainee will be expected to carry out under supervision the following duties:
– Daily operation of a first-line helpdesk (phone and e-mail): receiving and answering calls from the users, first quick assessment of the situation and either relay of the problem to a system administrator or take action;
– Direct assistance to the end users, troubleshooting and practical advice;
– Manage ticket queue to document and process user requests;
– Support users in videoconferencing services, including maintenance of meeting rooms IT equipment;
– Installation and configuration of user workstations;
– Connection of network cables in the building;
– Managing and servicing printers;
– In-depth testing and deploying of computers and/or applications.
The Project Management trainee will be expected to carry out under supervision the following duties:
– Assist project managers in their daily work;
– Perform clerical duties;
– Organize meetings, and take meeting minutes;
– Prepare PowerPoint presentations;
– Enter project data;
– Manage small IT projects;
– Create project plans;
– Monitor project progress;
– Report project results.
