Context:
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Protection Division in IOM Iraq and direct supervision of the Protection Coordinator, the successful candidate will support the Protection Division (PxD) in creating a dashboard and infographics for protection monitoring data related to camp closure.
Nature of the consultancy
An information management specialist (Category B Consultant) is needed for the following core functions:

Design and develop an interactive humanitarian dashboard for protection monitoring data related to camp closure

Prepare visually compelling infographics, including maps and templates, to communicate the analysis of protection monitoring data related to camp closure
Project Context and Scope
Following camp closure that will take place in Iraq in July 2024, IOM will conduct a household survey with a sample of households, within one month of the following situations:

After IOM’s facilitated voluntary movements

After spontaneous departures tracked by IOM DTM’s Emergency Tracking Tool

After a camp is officially closed by the Government
Households may have returned from camps to their areas of origin, relocated to another area, or locally integrated. This survey specifically measures protection risks at the household level. Data collection will be conducted with a sample of households (to be determined based on the caseload) by trained protection monitors via remote household surveys. Protection monitoring data will be presented on a data visualization platform shared with key actors to enable rapid dissemination and complemented with analytical reports on a quarterly basis.

Qualification Requirements
Education
– Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Statistics, Data Science, Communication, or related discipline
Experience
– 5 years of relevant experience required preferably in a humanitarian or development context.
Skills
– Strong digital skills including relevant applications such as Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Suite, GIS
– Excellent numeric and analytic skills, including ability to write content in a concise and clear manner
– Ability to work effectively, harmoniously and independently in remote working setting
– Great attention to detail and ability to organize
– Ability to produce quality work according to set deadlines
– Ability to manage time effectively
– Ability to community effectively with a range of audiences
Languages
– Fluency in English language is required.
– Fluency in Arabic language is desirable.
