Information Security Officer

ECDC plans to recruit one person for the above-mentioned vacancy to support the Early Warning and Response System (EWRS) project. ECDC also aims to establish a reserve list, which may be used for any future vacancies in the area.
The jobholder will work in a close collaboration with the IT security officer (LISO) and be responsible in particular for the following areas of work:

• Manage and assure EWRS compliance with ECDC and DG SANTE’s cybersecurity and data related regulatory frameworks and policies;
• Manage, assure compliance with, and further improve the ECDC Information Security Management System (ISMS);
• Identify and document compliance gaps;
• Assist in designing, implementing, auditing and compliance testing in order to ensure cybersecurity and data privacy compliance;
• Assist in the development and support the implementation of information security and cybersecurity plans, policies and procedures;
• Perform business impact and security risk assessments etc.
