Innovation Analyst (Co-Innovation Program) – 1 Year Contract

SAIL will drive agri-food development by fostering innovation-centric collaborations to enable corporates, SMEs and startups to capture new opportunities in this sector. SAIL will organize a range of business matching and co-innovation activities. We will work with agri-food corporates to establish their problem statements, identify partnership opportunities to find solutions, and organise knowledge-sharing sessions to match demand drivers and solution providers.

We are looking for an Innovation Analyst, who will play a key role in the co-innovation program, working with corporate partners to understand their problem statements and helping partners to scout for potential solution providers.

The successful candidate is responsible to perform due diligence on IHLs/A*STAR/SMEs/startups tech offer and matching with needs of corporate partners.

• Conduct scouting & screening emerging technologies / start-ups
• Analyse startup/company information
• Formulate and test new business hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendation
• Analyse technology, industry, and market trends and synthesize this information for clients
• Source, diligence, and recommend investment opportunities
• Project proposal writing
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline
• Possess technical knowledge with 3 to 4 years of working experience in the agriculture, food or commodities sectors
• Possess driven and innovative mindset with passion in the food industry
• Be resourceful and able to work independently without supervision
• Be able to navigate difficulties and find creative solutions to problems
• Good team player with good communication & interpersonal skills
