What you’ll need

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any of the following related fields: Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related area. Masters Preferred.
• Experience: At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in with responsibilities in the development and/or implementation of information management systems, systems integrations, UX design or implementing new technologies.
• Languages: Proficiency in English and Spanish.

Key skills

• Soft Skills: Self-management, flexibility, dependability, relationship building, results-driven, with strong communication skills. Focus on results.
• Technical skills: Proficient in IT systems, data analysis, and software development. Familiar with UX design, cloud computing, and AI. GIS. Aware of emerging technologies. Enables effective innovation and technology implementation, enhancing operational efficiency and organizational excellence. MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

• Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

• Type of contract: International Consultant Full-Time.
• Length of contract: 9 months.
• Work Location: On site. Washington, D.C. (Headquarters)
