Summary of Job Duties:
This is a non-tenure track Instructor of Data Analysis position teaching traditional and on-line classes. This position has a four-course teaching requirement each semester (12 credit hours per semester). The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and expertise in the field of business analytics, with the ability to inspire students while delivering high-quality instruction.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in information systems, data science, statistics, or a related field from an AACSB (or equivalent) accredited university conferred by the start of employment

• Documented excellence in teaching

• Engaged in organizational outreach or consulting or peer-reviewed research or willingness to develop such engagements (as per AACSB guidelines on maintaining Practice Academic or Scholarly Academic status)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree in information systems, data science, statistics, or a related field from an AACSB (or equivalent) accredited university conferred by the start of employment

• Experience and/or an interest in teaching data analysis or related courses

• Industry experience in analytics or related field or peer-reviewed analytics-related publications
