This opportunity to join the Department of Pediatrics at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at the rank of Instructor is an exciting one. Columbia University Irving Medical Center, one of the nation’s foremost academic health science centers working together with one of the nation’s premier health systems, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Department of Pediatrics at Columbia University Medical Center seeks a full-time, house physician for our Level III, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. House physicians will work with a team caring for neonates with a variety of diseases including congenital heart disease (pre and post-operative management). Interested applicants should be BC/BE pediatricians and will receive faculty appointments at the Instructor level. Candidate must be board certified or eligible in a Pediatrics or Pediatric subspecialty.  Must be eligible to practice in NYS. Please send resumes to Dr. Marianne Garland. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a MD or DO degree and an active NYS Medical License
  • Must have Board Certification / Eligible

  • The ability to create a high-energy results-oriented work environment that encourages colleagues and staff to value each other’s contributions; and

Compensation range

$125,000 – $125,000

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
