Job Description:Insurance Client Manager – Public Sector ClientsAon is currently recruiting for a Client Manager to join our National Public Sector team. This role is a hybrid role and has the flexibility to work from home and our Leicester office.The Client Manager is the key contact between the Client and Aon and is responsible for co-ordinating and managing the provision of service to their clients, drawing upon designated service teams and specialist resources.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeAs a Client Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the service provided to clients, ensuring the highest level of service to each assigned client is in line with the agreed client service tools.
- Identify and introduce Aon’s products and services to meet the client’s needs and understand and communicate each Client’s business issues and needs to the service team and other parts of Aon.
- Build client relationships with key decision-makers.
- Grow the revenue and profitability of your client portfolio, including meeting annual revenue target for this portfolio.
- Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Knowledge of the Public Sector insurance market and tender processes and posses the ability to conduct client insurance tenders.
- Ability to build strong insurer relationships
- ACII or equivalent desirable
- Experience managing large, public-sector clients and knowledge of public sector specific risks is essential.
- Commercial understanding of business i.e., market forces, business drivers, market dynamics, competitors and risks, etc.
- An effective communicator and presenter.
- Self-disciplined, organised and results focused
- Client focused with a consultative approach and commitment to excellence in the provision of client service.
