At ONCALL the Intake Officer is responsible for:

  • Managing the assessment planning and administration associated with the Intake process, including requests for service for people with complex lives and circumstances.
  • Developing effective relationships with Support Coordinators.
  • Representing ONCALL at industry events are increasing our ability to provide supports to more people in more places.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Actively contribute as a key member of the Intake team to the successful onboarding of clients who approach ONCALL for services and support.
  • Undertake the onboarding process in a timely, efficient and respectful manner ensuring ONCALL services are approachable and easy to use for clients, families and support networks.
  • Expertly engage external agencies and professionals where required in the onboarding process.
  • Provide expert advice regarding NDIS plans, budgets, utilisation, and service options at ONCALL designed to maximise outcomes for clients.
  • Utilise needs assessments to recognise critical information for service delivery and ensure all critical information is considered and utilised to support high quality support.
  • Maintain current and accurate client records using the ONCALL Client Management Record System.
  • Liaise with internal and external partners to manage the requirements of Intake and Agreements

Our Successful Applicant will ideally have:

  • Experience in delivering an intake service with associated skills in the provision of assessments and other intake functions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with our NDIS participants/families.
  • Knowledge and understanding of NDIS Plans and service agreements.
  • Experience liaising with internal/external stakeholders such as Support Coordinators, parents, Psychologists etc.
