Field of activity

  • The Corporate Organization department supports corporate management in
  • ensuring an efficient structure and process organization at GIZ worldwide.
  • This includes the development of structural organizational foundations (technical and methodological) as well as advice and further development of the organization along

strategic priorities.

  • We design GIZ’s process management, which is a central part of the corporate strategy and the company’s current transformation. We provide the plan and the means for converting into a highly process-oriented organization and design the necessary change process. In addition, we are further developing GIZ’s structural elements so that they fit current requirements.

Your tasks

  • Support with organizational structure and process issues (technical and methodological), e.g. analysis and further development of the organization
  • Support in data collection, preparation and analysis in cooperation with various company units in MS Excel
  • Support in the preparation, presentation and communication of information obtained from this in MS PowerPoint and MS Word
  • Support in advising on structures and processes in the country offices and organizational units at headquarters
  • Participate in department-wide meetings and company-wide information events

your profile

  • Study in the field of business administration, economics or a comparable course of study
  • Previous consulting experience desirable
  • Basic knowledge of organizational structures and processes desirable
  • Good strategic and very good analytical skills as well as a structured way of working
  • Good communication skills (including preparation of documents appropriate to the board)
  • Very good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Fluent German and English skills, additional language skills are an advantage
