Internal Auditor

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits on all administrative units, internal and external branches, and prepare reports accordingly.
• Verify compliance with laws and regulations and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of governance systems, risk management, and internal control, and contribute to their improvement.
• Ensure the achievement of strategic objectives and the execution of all approved plans.
• Audit financial data and operations for compliance with approved policies and procedures.
• Ability to inspect and test information systems and electronic programs used, ensuring their efficiency and the accuracy of information and reports generated.
• Ensure the safety of funds, trusts, fixed assets, and other properties both internally and externally.
• Review employee hiring procedures, leaves, promotions, and other personnel matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational decisions.
• Monitor the implementation of internal audit recommendations according to the approved follow-up plan.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing.
• Professional certification in auditing such as CIA is preferred.
• Previous experience in auditing is desirable.
• Thorough knowledge of international standards in internal auditing.
• Familiarity with accounting principles, managerial accounting, and accounting standards.
• Ability to assess and manage risks.
• Ability to draft audit reports in Arabic.
• Proficiency in computer usage and related applications.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team
