Job Description
As an Internal Auditor at DCA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. Closely supporting the Head of Internal Audit, you will:
- Execute audits in accordance with our approved audit plan, ensuring that our operations are efficient and effective.
- Evaluate financial and operational procedures, ensuring that our internal controls are robust and effective.
- Execute ad-hoc projects and other duties assigned by the Head of Internal Audit, contributing to our organization’s continuous improvement.
- Help to prepare quarterly reports to the Audit Committee, focusing on high-risk areas, significant control issues, and the progress made in addressing them.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives by identifying, analyzing, and providing insight to Management on dilemmas and risks, actively shaping our organizational risk mindset.

Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Background: Hold a relevant university degree, accompanied by professional audit certifications, demonstrating your commitment to excellence in the field.
- Audit Experience: Possess a minimum of 4 years of audit experience, gained from either internal or external audit functions. Your experience showcases your proficiency in audit methodologies and best practices.
- IT Audit Proficiency: Bring expertise in IT audits to the table. Your knowledge of information technology auditing processes and controls is essential to strengthen our organization’s IT risk management.
- Sector Experience: While not mandatory, experience in the NGO sector or a similar field is a distinct advantage. Familiarity with the unique challenges and dynamics of the sector will enable you to make a more immediate impact.
- Risk and Compliance: Exhibit a deep understanding of auditing, operational risk assessment, and compliance processes. Your ability to identify, assess, and address potential risks is vital in maintaining our organizational integrity.
- Audit Report Writing: Demonstrate sound audit report writing skills. Your ability to communicate audit findings clearly, concisely, and persuasively is essential for conveying insights and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
- Effective Communication: Demonstrate the ability to pinpoint and raise challenging issues at all management level. Your ability to communicate clearly and concisely, ideally in both Danish and English, ensures effective interaction at all levels within the organization.
- Collaborative Skills: Possess excellent collaborative skills, enabling you to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders in a complex environment. Your capacity to listen attentively and consider different perspectives is essential for fostering collaboration.
- Project Management: Showcase strong project management skills, as you will be responsible for leading and/or conducting audit projects to successful completion.
