Your Responsibilities

As a International Logistics Analyst for Deere & Company (Southwest Office Building) located in Moline, IL, you will…

 

• Manage U.S. inbound air freight operations, supporting all processes from international suppliers/factories/service parts RDC’s to U.S. units.
• Manage freight forwarding operations with our 6 core freight forwarders globally. This includes acting as the first point of escalation, leading monthly operational reviews, and identifying/implementing process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support Premium Freight Tool (PFR) processes, escalations, and improvements.
• Manage and create operational dashboards/metrics supporting both ocean and air freight operations.

• Skills in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
• Knowledge of unit processes and operations
• Understanding of fundamental business principles and practices
• Experience with logistics processes
• Experience with international business and international transportation
• Project management experience
• Willingness and ability to travel both internationally and domestically up to 25%

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Management or International Relations, or equivalent related work experiences
