They are committed to developing innovative solutions that improve overall health and wellness, providing top-quality ingredients to support their customers’ needs.They are seeking an International Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive global growth and increase the company’s market share in the functional ingredients sector. This role will involve identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities, managing relationships with key accounts, and leading marketing initiatives to achieve international revenue targets.** This position can be based out of Paris, London, or the United StatesKey Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Create and implement innovative marketing strategies and programs to promote functional ingredients in international markets, aligning with company goals and customer needs.
- Market Expansion: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within global markets, working to expand the company’s reach and presence across various segments of the functional ingredients industry.
- Pricing Strategy Development: Establish effective pricing strategies to balance profitability and customer satisfaction, ensuring competitiveness in diverse international markets.
- Team Leadership: Lead the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of international marketing and sales staff, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, consumer needs, and the competitive landscape, leveraging insights to refine marketing strategies.
- Sales Forecasting: Collaborate with sales teams to create accurate sales forecasts and strategic plans that ensure the profitability of functional ingredients, monitoring market dynamics and analyzing sales data.
- Trade Shows and Promotions: Oversee and participate in global trade shows, promotional activities, and campaigns, working closely with developers, advertisers, and production managers to showcase the company’s ingredient solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key international accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborative Efforts: Ensure clear communication between marketing, sales, customer service, and manufacturing teams to align on product availability, service quality, and promotional activities.
- Monitor and Manage Sales Pipeline: Create and manage an international sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targets, while continuously monitoring sales performance and market trends.
- Claims Monitoring: Manage customer claims related to damaged or defective products, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly analyze marketing and sales data to identify opportunities for growth, areas for improvement, and emerging market trends.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the global expansion and success of the functional ingredients business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration or related field or its equivalent.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the ingredients industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a global market.
- Strong understanding of international market dynamics and business practices.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage schedules and priorities, organizational skills, and resourcefulness.
- Must be strong at manipulating and analyzing data in Excel
