Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has an internship program aimed at increasing opportunities for under-represented groups and increasing diversity in the workforce. Interns will receive a modest monthly stipend. Other details will be shared if you are selected for an interview in mid-July
We anticipate a start date on September 1st, 2024, and an internship duration of six months
The internship positions we anticipate recruiting for are the following:
Procurement/Supply Chain (1position in Yaoundé)
Responsibilities:
- Read to understand the Procurement Manual
- Carryout diligence visits to vendors
- Draft request for quotations
- Take part in bid analysis committees.
- Printing of Purchase orders and transmission for signature
- Verification of purchase documents and ensure they are complete before transmission to administration while ensuring the person receiving signs
- File procurement documents
- Perform supplier due diligence
- update the price catalog for goods and services
- Prepare request for quotation drafts
Qualifications and Experience: Holder of diploma or degree in logistics and transport, or master’s in supply chain management
Languages: French, English
Administration (1 position in Yaoundé)
Responsibilities:
- Reception & Mail management
- Administrative writing
- Travel management
- Inventory management
- Visitor reception and orientation
- Mail registration and dispatching
- Drafting correspondence and mission orders
- Issuing payment requests
- Manual recording of stock movements
Qualifications and Experience: Bac + 2 level / bachelor’s degree in administration / Logistics / Business management
Languages: French, English
