As a team member of the Human Resources (HR) Unit of the International Labour Organization’s Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (ILO-ROAP), the intern will be exposed to and involved in a wide range of HR functions and activities performed at the regional office level including the provision of support to country offices and project offices in the region. The intern will support various HR tasks contributing to the timely and effective functioning of business operations and project delivery in accordance with applicable rules and policies, which may encompass duties related to preparing correspondence and administrative documents, research, drafting, data collection and analyses, and updating and maintaining database, among others.
The intern will gain knowledge of HR policies, practices and procedures as well as practical hands-on experience in HR administration in a field office. The intern will work under the supervision of the Regional Human Resources Coordinator and the Human Resources Officer.
Required :
Education:
- The intern should be enrolled in the final year of graduate degree programme in a relevant field or should have completed such a programme no longer than one year ago.
Experience:
- Any relevant work experience in human resources management and development, and knowledge and skills of IT would be an advantage.
Languages:
- Working (both oral and written) knowledge of English.
