Dear Services Provider
In order to implement the activities of the INTERSOS Humanitarian Organization, the INTERSOS office in Erbil, kindly requests you to provide us with the best prices (VAT excluded, including all other costs and warranties) for the services and works described as described in the Terms of References attached.
- The main purpose of this RFQ is to provide Legal Services to INTERSOS on a retainer basis as outlined in the ToR, please go through it and read it carefully.
- The request for a quotation is not a financial commitment.
- The Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
Essential:
- A Bachelor’s degree in law with 7-10 years of experience in the legal system in Iraq and KRI. Bidders are requested to provide CVs and copies of relevant Diplomas.
- Valid bar association ID with C authority allowed to practice law and any applicable relevant registration in both KRI and FI. Bidders are requested to provide a copy of a valid Bar Association ID
- Proven experience of working with other international NGOs or private companies as retained legal counsel. Bidders are requested to provide either 3 previous contracts entered into between May 2021 and May 2024 for retained legal services or 3 signed references from private companies or INGOs clearly stating the nature of services provided and the period they were provided to the company or NGO by the bidder. References must be for services provided between May 2021 and May 2024
- Tax Clearance
- Valid company registration (if bidding as firm or company)
Desirable
- Strong understanding of labor law, corporate taxation (for non-profit), trade law, civil law, social security law in both FI and KRI.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong relationship, coordination and influencing skills.
- Exhibiting sound practical judgment
- Commitment and willingness to travel to field locations as and when needed
Language requirements:
- Fluent in English including demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, and editing contracts and agreements in both languages
- Written and spoken fluency in Arabic.
- If bidding as a firm or company, the bidder is requested to provide the required documentation for the individual implementing the contract.
- Candidates meeting the above requirements will be selected for interviews and will be requested to provide references before the interview.
- The Publication of the Request for Quotation is May 19, 2024.
