Our client, a leading global manufacturing company, is recruiting for an experienced Spare Parts and Logistics Manager to join their Management team. You will be overseeing a team of up to 20 people and will be responsible for both the Spare Parts and Logistics teams. You will need to take ownership for the smooth running, productivity and development of both areas. This job role is perfect for someone with Spare Parts/Logistics experience who enjoys managing and motivating people to work to high standards. In time there are lots of opportunities to take on more within the role.
The Role
This is an involved role where you will be focusing on the management and development of the Spare Parts and Logistics Department. You will be managing a team of around 20, ensuring productivity and growth. The role will develop, with more exciting projects to work on as you go along. The main responsibility of this role will be managing the flow of picking and distributing materials as well as the logistics including Import/Export regs.
The Ideal Candidate
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has proven management experience in a similar role with Spare Parts / Warehouse environments. You will need excellent leadership skills and enjoy motivating, coaching and leading your team from the front. Excellent communication skills are vital as is the ability to problem solve focusing on continuous improvement. You will also need strong data analysis skills, an analytical approach and the ability to communicate at all levels.
