Private EquityUK2 – 5 yearsAbout our clientWe are working with a pioneering European Private Equity fund focused on the agriculture and food sectors. It invests in the mid-market and works closely with its portfolio to guide them through rapid yet sustainable growth. It is looking to add a high-calibre Associate to join its team in London. The candidate will be involved in day-to-day tasks associated with investments and portfolio management and will work closely with the firm’s partners on a global basis.The role gives the successful candidate exposure to origination, execution and exit. What the job involves

• Perform sector, strategic and financial analysis of target companies
• Hands-on involvement in transaction execution (structuring, tax, due diligence, investment strategy, financial modelling)
• Assist and or lead in the preparation of models and analyse financial and operational performance of new and existing portfolio business
• Supporting the investment committee

Who we are looking for

• Experience in a Private Equity investment role. Exceptional candidates may be considered from Investment Banking, Consulting, Corporate Finance
• Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
• Compelling written and oral communication skills and fluency in English; ability to interact with key stakeholders internally and externally with a wide range of seniority
• Entrepreneurial and a self-starter, willing to get involved throughout the entire deal process
