WHO has been mandated by its Member States to produce a plan for the Organization’s first Investment Round, to be submitted to the Executive Board in January 2024. The ADGO will coordinate this project through an agile, cross-cutting and time-bound coordination team.
Deliverables:
  • To facilitate coordination across workstreams within WHO, to advise on and produce initial drafts for materials and to conceptualize and set up meetings and events for internal and external stakeholders as a basis for building towards a culminating event in the 4th quarter of 2024. 
Project management:
  • Updated work plan across the 4 workstreams that monitors progress in line with the project’s objectives and deadlines.
  • Prepared coordination team check-ins and touchpoint meetings with work stream leads; minutes and action points.
  • An organized and appropriately accessible storage of all relevant documents.
  • Operationalization of decision points of ADG.
Content production:
  • Clear, attractive and accurate slide decks for external and internal meetings and communications.
  • Drafts for external communications including briefing notes, key messages and official letters.
  • Content for internal and stakeholder communications, including for internal town halls and Member State information sessions.
  • Guidance for internal communications and – framing and content for newsletters, presentations, talking points/speeches.
Data analysis & visualization:
  • Data analysis and visualization for data on financial and human resources and processes, for advocacy and communication purposes.
Qualifications, experience, skills and languages
Educational Qualifications:
Essential:
  • Advanced university degree in Management, International Relations, Development Studies or related field.
Experience:
Essential:
  • At least seven years professional experience in project management for public health.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a partnership.
Desirable:
  • Hands-on experience working with a national government.
  • Experience working with WHO.
Skills/Knowledge:
  • Strong expertise in project management and work planning.
  • Strong skills in researching for and writing advocacy and reporting materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across technical specialities and work cultures towards a common goal.
  • Skills in data analysis and presentation.
  • Understanding of public health.
Languages required:
Essential:  
  • Expert knowledge of English.
Desirable:
  • Intermediate knowledge of French.
