Melexis is actively searching for an experienced and dynamic Investor Relations Director to become a key member of our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering strong and transparent relationships with investors, financial analysts, and other stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to effectively convey Melexis’ financial performance, strategic direction, and future prospects to the investment community.

More specifically, you will take responsibility for:

• Reporting: Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to investors and regulatory bodies is paramount. This includes quarterly results statements, conference call scripts, Q&As, press releases, presentations for analyst/investor meetings and the Annual and Sustainability Report;
• Investor Communication: Maintaining open and transparent communication with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders. This involves promptly addressing inquiries, developing and executing key investor seminars, conferences and road shows;
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant securities laws, stock exchange regulations, and corporate governance standards. This includes staying abreast of changes in regulations and implementing necessary procedures to remain compliant;
• Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior management to develop and execute investor relations strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives. This may involve identifying key investor concerns, crafting messaging, and coordinating investor events (eg, Capital Market Day).

Your profile

• Master degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred;
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in investor relations, finance, or related roles, preferably in a stock listed company;
• Proven track record of successfully managing investor relations programs and building relationships with investors and analysts;
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, accounting principles, and capital markets;
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to distill complex financial information into clear and concise messages for diverse audiences;
• Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and proactively advise senior management;
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines;
• High level of integrity, ethics, and transparency, as well as a passion for the company’s mission and vision;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and investor relations software/tools.
