Job description

IT Application Support Analyst is required by a leading financial institution based in Aylesbury and paying up to £50k. This individual will be experienced in 1st and 2nd line support within a Linux/UNIX environment including Cobol, C#, C, SQL, PostGres, security access management and the support of enterprise applications.The Applications Support Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day support of the applications and support from development SMEs and infrastructure suppliers. They will assess incidents in 3rd party applications and support in a 1st line capacity in regards to installation, configuration and data. Post-incident analysis will be a major responsibility and allow the Application Support Analyst to carry out development work to ensure the minimisation of the problem repeating. They will also be responsible for assisting with code changes and contributing to application improvements, creating the appropriate documentation along the way.Should you match the requirements above, APPLY NOW!!
