Due to internal promotion, we are recruiting for a new applications manager. Working closely with the Head of Delivery, this role is integral to our mission of leveraging technology to streamline our operations, enhance security compliance, drive business value, improve our service offerings, and achieve strategic business objectives.
In this exciting growth environment, the Applications Manager will lead a talented team of IT professionals to deliver application implementations for strategic projects, proactive maintenance activity, assist in integrating M&A maintenance projects, collaborating on innovation activities that are essential to the strategic and operational success of the organisation.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in application architecture, excellent solutions delivery skills, and the ability to drive collaboration across teams. About you:
To be considered, you will have:
- Qualifications in IT and/or Business-related disciplines
- Proven experience in leading and managing large, cross-functional teams.
- Track record in designing and implementing complex, cloud-based mission-critical and high traffic applications.
- Demonstrated experience managing technical aspects of projects in application areas including application upgrades, replacements and related business transformations.
- Experience in business acquisitions and mergers – highly advantageous.
- Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.
- Exposure and experience with a wide range of infrastructure and application technologies.
- Experience with partnering with vendors to design and deliver solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments/systems, respond to changing demands.
- Aged & Community Care sector experience desirable.
