Under the supervision of an IT expert, you will provide support to all DRC staff. As a key member of the IT department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and networks, enabling our staff to focus on their primary work — improving lives and making positive changes.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support to company employees.
  • Setting up workstations and peripheral devices.
  • Creating instructions and conducting IT training for staff.
  • Managing user accounts, including password resets and MFA, ensuring data security.
  • Analyzing networks and troubleshooting issues that arise.
  • Following IT procedures and resolving technical issues identified by the IT Coordinator.
  • Keeping records of equipment, licenses, and user requests.
  • Collaborating with the procurement department on IT equipment inventory tasks.
  • Being prepared for travel to provide IT support at regional offices (Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Chernihiv, Sumy).

About you

To succeed in this role, we are looking for a motivated individual who wants to learn quickly and communicate with various stakeholders. Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

  • Understanding of basic network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN).
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating system at an administrator level.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and the ability to diagnose related issues.
  • Experience with Office 365 and troubleshooting skills in the Microsoft environment.
  • Proficiency in English at an intermediate or higher level for oral and written communication with colleagues.
  • Personal skills: communication, independence, punctuality, ability to work in a team.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of MS Active Directory basics (GPO, Domain Structure, Shared Folders).
  • Experience working as a system administrator/assistant system administrator for at least 1 year.
  • Experience working in non-profit organizations.
