Do you have BSc in computer engineering, Computer science or related field of studies?

 

Do you have at least three (3) years of practical experience on networked environment preferably NGO setting?

The Role:

 

The IT Assistant is responsible to ensure that Oxfam staff within a country can use information technology and regional information systems, including email, networks, PC, Peoplesoft / OPAL and other corporate applications.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

  • Professional training on computers, with knowledge on Local Area Networks, servers (basic hardware and software) Technically competent in area of specialization and/or experience in IT workflows.
  • High level of competence in development and implementation of computerized systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Use of initiative in problem solving.
  • Learns/follows Oxfam policies and (technical) procedures to do the job.
  • Suggests new ways to improve the work process.
  • Contributes to team building.
  • Solves problems with appropriate upward referral.
