Description

We currently have a vacancy for an IT Support Manager fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Organization, implementation and maintenance of user support;
• Coordination of support & project teams;
• IS Service management;
• Coordination of wiki sites, collaborative sites or social networks;
• Management of incidents related to information systems & organization of the reporting;
• Conception and organization of user documentation for information systems;
• Conception and management of IS and ICT trainings;
• Elaboration and implementation of relevant support processes.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Experience of PL/SQL (designing new queries, debugging and/or fine-tuning existing queries);
• Excellent knowledge of Excel filters, pivots, charts, and complex formulas;
• Good knowledge of ITIL;
• Knowledge in end user assistance or support of information systems;
• Knowledge of wiki, collaborative sites and social networks;
• Knowledge of statistical mathematics fundamentals;
• Knowledge and experience with Jira, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, VBA macros would be an asset;
• ITIL foundation certification would be considered as an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.
