Background:
Following the OSCE Presence in Albania efforts to enhance the capacities of law enforcement agencies in Albania to combat transnational serious and organized crime, in line with the best international practices and improve exchange of intelligence and cooperation with international and regional partners, a 4-day peer exchange visit will be conducted to the Italian Anti-Mafia Investigation Division (DIA) in Rome, Italy for a group of representatives of Albanian State Police and the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK). To this end, the Presence will contract an international interpreter of Italian and Albanian language with vast experience, resident in Rome, Italy to provide consecutive interpretation from Italian to Albanian and vice versa during the 4 days activities of the peer exchange visit in Rome.
Objective of Assignment:
The international interpreter should facilitate communication though consecutive interpretation from Albanian to Italian and vice versa during the 4-day peer exchange visit in Rome, Italy.
Duration of Assignment:
This consultancy is envisaged to last for the duration of the above mentioned visit.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Familiarize themselves with the peer exchange materials, which relate to the event, including the agenda.
2. Provide consecutive interpretation from Albanian to Italian and vice versa during the 4 days of the peer exchange visit.
Deliverables:
Provide consecutive interpretation as specified under Task 2, from 04 – 07 November 2024, every day from 08:00 am until 05:00 pm.

Remuneration Package:
Remuneration will be based on the selected consultant’s/expert’s qualifications, experience, the tasks and deliverables for this position and in accordance with the OSCE established rates.
