Java FSDJob Summary: This is an app modernization program under Investment Banking Technology wherein developers need to work at onsite client office in Glasgow.Key Responsibilities:

• The person has to work in client office (Glasgow office) 5 days a week along with other developers. Agile scrum based development methodology is followed.
• This project related to the redevelopment of the control plane which manages the onboarding of applications and users onto the Datadog SaaS platform, along with managing, sharing and rotating the security keys required by LOB to connect to SaaS platform.
• The developer would work in a small team under the guidance of a senior developer, with an Agile environment to deliver the JIRA Epic to deliver the features.

Job responsibilities:

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

• Java 17 (using Spring technology stack).
• Strong understanding of micro-service design pattern.
• Proficient in database SQL and modeling.
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems.
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets.
• Experience in development of middleware apps.
• Exposure to file transfer protocols.
• Some hands on knowledge on React JS, Redux, HTML5, CSS3.
• Some exposure to frontend testing tools like Jest.
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.
• Passionate about building an innovative culture.
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement.
• Exposure to cloud native development.
