The data revolution is an essential cornerstone of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with data considered to be one of the fundamental pillars of the accountability framework of the 2030 Agenda. However, data and knowledge resources on development issues and SDGS are often fragmented across multiple platforms or publications on Department of Statistics DoS website. By having access to and effectively using knowledge resources, individuals, firms and communities become more actively and meaningfully engaged in rethinking development policies, taking fact-based positions, or leading on entrepreneurial initiatives, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the country. At a time when the percentage of internet users exceeded 85 percent in 2021, investing in and improving the existing open online platform offers a unique opportunity to capitalize on this unprecedented increase in internet activity.

The primary objective of this assignment is to lead the process of developing a user-friendly platform/portal that offers a structured, and analytically appealing tool with advanced data visualization and extraction tools.

The firm will develop the website and will work closely with the UNDP Team to produce all aspects that relate to the design and functionality of the new portal. This website shall include a new branding look and feel while keeping some of JDP’s modules and functionalities taking into consideration the guidance in this document.
