TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data entry (bookkeeping, cashflow, payroll, etc.);
- Updating internal systems with financial data;
- Preparing financial statements, reports and documents for management review;
- Performing reconciliation of clients and suppliers records;
- Processing supplier invoices;
- Controlling expenditure;
- Preparing budgets;
- Acting as the point of contact with other departments on accounting matters;
- Ensuring that accurate records are kept by standard practices;
- Perform ad hoc duties as required.
CANDIDATE’S PROFILE
- Fluency in English (essential);
- Very good knowledge of Excel (essential);
- Advanced numerical and quantitative skills (essential);
- Prior experience in a similar role, using Sage accounting software (desirable);
- Detail-oriented;
- Proven organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats;
- Strong sense of commitment and willing to take on more responsibilities;
- You are proactive, motivated and adaptable.
CONTRACT CONDITIONS
- A full-time one-year contract based in Malta. Renewal upon performance.
- Annual gross salary: €16,000 – €26,000 + benefits (TBD)
- A round-trip flight ticket to Malta for the assignment period (if applicable)
