Description of Work Unit | Central Supply Unit This position receives and delivers medical supplies, equipment, instruments, and freight for the VTH which is used for the instruction of professional and paraprofessional Veterinary Medical students. This position will also provide service and care to the public and professional research environment dealing with the care and treatment of the animals. Why work at Colorado State University? Position Summary | At the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH), we exist to educate the next generation of veterinarians by providing exceptional veterinary care and service to the community every day. The purpose of Central Supply is to provide 24-hour, state-of-the-art storage and delivery of all surgical and medical supplies, instruments, and equipment used for the treatment and care of animals at the VTH. The Central Supply unit instructs professional and paraprofessional Veterinary Medical students, interns, residents, Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Technician Students in a clinical setting with emphasis on the use and care of instruments and equipment used in the treatment of sick animals. This position will report to the materials supervisor. |
