The Land and Water Resource Management Planner is responsible for statewide delivery of the Land and Water Resource Management (LWRM) Program, including development and implementation of County LWRM plans and annual workplans, which are a precursor to issuance of any Soil and Water Resource Management Grant funding (staffing and cost-share). In addition, the position provides environmental analysis and review for the manure storage and livestock facility siting programs, supports the Land and Water Conservation Board and Livestock Facility Siting Review Boards. This position reports to the Land and Resource Management Section Manager and functions under general supervision.
