Land Conservation Consultant

Seeking the services of a consultant to advance our mission through community outreach, fundraising, and the development of new conservation opportunities. Consultant must have ability to engage with major landholders, as well as collaborate with community and government agencies.  Fundraising includes grant writing, increasing sponsor base and developing fundraising campaigns. Website and social media account use and oversight is necessary.

Qualifications include a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and ten years of responsible experience in conservation work, natural resource management, land management or a related field. Experience in fundraising and marketing is necessary. A strong grasp of social media platforms and communication skills, both verbal and written, are mandatory. Applicant must work independently. This is a grant-funded contractual position with guaranteed funding for a minimum of three years.
