Job Summary: Chippewa Nature Center (CNC) is seeking a Land Maintenance Technician with a passion for working outdoors, managing land for healthy ecosystems, and creating positive experiences for all people. This person will work directly with a team of motivated professionals to maintain and restore healthy, diverse ecosystems at CNC and throughout the region. In addition to using a variety of land management practices, this person will assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities.

Status: Full-time, permanent
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm with occasional weekends
Salary & Benefits: Salary range $34,000-36,000 based on experience and education, health insurance, 403(b) contribution, paid holidays, paid sick time and paid vacation, CNC membership, 20% discount in Nature Center Store, 10% off registered program fees

Overview of CNC: Chippewa Nature Center, Inc. (CNC) is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect all people to nature through educational, recreational, and cultural experiences. The 2,000-acre property includes a diversity of ecosystems and is along the Pine and Chippewa Rivers. CNC’s facilities consist of numerous buildings and 19 miles of trails. CNC is supported by a membership base of families and individuals as well as contributions from organizations and foundations.
