Grassroot Landscaping is hiring! We’re looking for reliable, hard-working individuals that love nature, are able to work outdoors in all seasons, bring a positive attitude and care about details.
Grassroot Landscaping is a good fit for you if you believe in landscaping practices that are environmentally sustainable. We avoid obnoxiously loud and polluting two-cycle engines, we prefer native plant species and pollinators and we categorically don’t apply industrial herbicides or pesticides. We offer on-the-job training and are operating a small fleet of electric cargo bicycles. So it’s great, but not mandatory, if you’re an avid cyclist. We look forward to working with environmentally conscientious people to help us educate our clients on how to keep a healthy garden and preserve the balance of the local ecology on Staten Island and beyond.
