Job description
We are looking for a dedicated Lead Educator to join our team at St. Cecilia’s Long Day Care and Kindy on a permanent full-time basis.
Within this role, you will work together with families and colleagues to develop and implement an effective educational program which ensures that children have every opportunity to grow and develop to their full potential.
Our Service
Tucked away in the heart of Hamilton, St Cecilia’s small class sizes and extensive outdoor play areas provide children with a unique learning environment that encourages creativity and exploration and rewards curiosity.
With capacity for just 49 children, our team gets to know each child and what is important to them so we can adjust programs based on how each child socialises and learns. At St Cecilia’s we care for children from six weeks and offer a Queensland Government approved kindergarten program for children in the year before prep.

- Plan and deliver a high-quality, inclusive educational program.
- Follow our events calendar to ensure all children can participate in programs and special events.
- Support children’s growth and development, ensuring they learn and have fun in a happy, safe, and nurturing environment.
- Engage in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community, aligning with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
Job Requirements
- Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard
- Effective workplace communication skills
