Job Summary:
This position will work with the IIE’s Corporate and Foundation Programs and Student Emergency Initiatives Department which is comprised of a dynamic portfolio of global scholarship, fellowship, and small grants programs funded primarily by foundations, corporations, IIE organizational funding, and individual donors. Much of the department’s programming centers on access to higher education, and access to particular industries and address some of the most critical issues of our time. Programs Team members have the opportunity to contribute to multiple programs at many different stages of the program lifecycle.
The Program Lead will be responsible for IIE’s overall role as Program Implementation and Administration Partner to the Ford Foundation on the Ford Global Fellowship (FGF) which aims to connect and support the next generation of social justice leaders who are advancing innovative solutions to end inequality. This includes partnering with Ford Foundation, Fellows, program implementation partners and other stakeholders to continue to co-design and implement a Fellowship experience and Community of Practice. This individual will lead IIE’s engagement with the Ford Foundation on this program. The Fellowship is grounded in transformational leadership and organizational development theoretical frameworks and lived experience. The Program Lead will partner with Ford to put those frameworks into practice building and executing dynamic, inclusive, and impactful engagements.
